Year 5 Pupil Blog

What’s been going on in 5CP? 
 
In English, we have trying to discover what happened to the Year 5 Morpekos (The adults collect Pokémon cards with the children). They suddenly just disappeared at lunch and we cannot find them. The classes looked at some CCTV evidence and we have been listing the suspects we thought might have stolen them I thought it was either Mrs Jarvis, Mr Barry Gregory or Mr Powell. Also, we prepared some questions for Mrs Bates as to what she might do if a teacher was found guilty. 
In Maths, Mr Palser’s class and Mr Haywood’s class have swapped classes. We have been turning decimals into fractions and turning fractions into decimals. We have been considering the value of numbers beyond the decimal point into the thousandths column. 
In PE we have been playing cricket and practicing catching to see how many we can get without dropping it and we do this in groups of three at random. When I dis it with Pheobe and Mya (in 5NB) we got to 200 without dropping it. We then practised our bowling technique where we had to keep our arm straight and aim for the stumps. After that, we got to bat as well!
