This week in year 2: In Science, we have been learning about the basic needs of a animals and humans. We identified that air, food, shelter, and water. We learnt that animals have similar needs to humans, however, animals eat differently to humans. We looked at omnivores, carnivores and herbivores. Finally, we discussed how their habitat depends on their basic needs. For example, if the animal has fur and is a omnivore then animal wouldn’t live in a marine habitat. We used the iPads this week to locate different places in the United Stated of America and Russia that were important in the space race. In History, we learnt about the moon landing. We put the event into chronological order and then discussed the impacted it had to civilisation. Comments are closed.
