5TH Update

​5TH have worked incredibly hard over the past half term, and it has been a pleasure watching them settle back into school life so well. Our work based around the Vikings in Britain has created some amazing conversations and even better pieces of work.
 
We have really excelled in out written work, and the quality of the books in our class has really blown me away. A particular highlight was the fictional recounts which were written about a Viking Holmgang (a duel to first blood or the death). This really showed off our creativity and much improved understanding of grammatical concepts.
 
In science we have investigated materials and how they can change state based on different variables. This has meant we have completed several exciting experiments, including the egg
