1FK Pupil Blog

It has been a great start to the year for IFK. The children have all settled well and have adapted to their new classroom and routines amazingly well.  
1FK have had a very busy first term learning lots of new things. In our English lessons, we have been focusing on the story of Pinocchio. We were able to use speech to explore conversation and used descriptive language to explore onomatopoeia, feelings and inner thoughts.
During our enrichment day we had lots of fun exploring and learning about wheels and axels. We became very creative and designed our peg cars. We finally finished our project by making and decorating our peg cars.   
We ended our peg car project by evaluating the cars. 
What did you like best about your car? 
DH – The colour of my wheels, it’s my favourite colour. 
CM – My car looks cool. 
AH – I like the way my car moves. 
MD – I like the colours.  
EP – My car is pretty.
