In Maths this week, we have focused on counting in 2s. At first, it was a little tricky for us to count in 2s as we are familiar with counting in ones but we soon became confident at it. We listened to some songs about counting in 2s and used some of our body parts which we have 2 of to support our learning of counting in 2s. We engaged with a range of pictorial and concrete representations which were useful learning aids to counting in 2s. Furthermore, we grouped objects in 2s and counted how many groups of two there were.
1BA thoroughly enjoyed their lesson this week and here are some of their thoughts to share with you. Mason – liked when we counted in 2s. Emma – liked when we searched for patterns. Ollie - liked how we used our body parts to count in 2s. Jacob – liked when we found missing numbers on number tracks. James M – liked when we were talking about body parts that we have 2 of. Olivia – liked when we grouped objects in 2s. Imaani – liked when we were completing our tasks. Comments are closed.
