Reception Blog

This week in reception we have been reading Everybody Counts by Kristin Roskifte. We have been deciding what our likes and dislikes are and using lovely vocabulary to describe animals.  
In maths we have been using piles of objects and trying to decide which pile has the most or the least and putting them in order. We have to do this without counting. It has sometimes been tricky. We have counted the objects after to check we are right. 
We have worked really hard this half term drawing pictures of ourselves and our friends in different ways. We have only used pencils to draw our faces, then we had a half photograph of ourselves and had to finish it. This week we have been drawing in colour. ​
