Pupils and teachers are continuing to enjoy learning in maths using the Ark Maths Mastery Programme. We are using lots of manipulatives to help deepen our understanding of the maths we are learning; they are fun to use and really do help all pupils. We are also enjoying our Maths Meetings: a 15 to 20 minute session of maths which is separate to the maths lesson. In our Maths Meetings, we cover 4 or 5 areas of learning, each part is quick (3 or 4 minutes maximum) and delivered with speed of recall being the aim; they are definitely helping to develop our learning.
