Welcome back!  We are now into our final half term. Where has the year gone! 
We have lots to look forward to with events like; Borough Olympics, sports days, the Thurrock Junior and Infant Music Festivals, the year 6 camp out and transition, meeting their new teachers (and new schools for the year 6 children) and of course, the end of year finale…. the year 6 leavers performance! Always an explosion of emotions. It will be a sad day saying good-bye to our year 6’s but they are more than ready for their next step in their lives and we will wish them all the best of luck. 
The year 4 children have been working hard on their times table facts ready for the Multiplication Check. 
I have been working with groups of children to reinforce their phonic knowledge as they will have their Phonic Checks this term. They have all been superstars and have no doubt been showing you all the actions for the sounds we have been covering as well as random alien words they may have been reading! ​
