Hello from 2NB at East Tilbury! We’ve had an exciting few weeks filled with creativity and discovery. 
Poetry Fun 
Our theme has been “If I Were in Charge of the World”. We explored what life would be like if we could make the rules! The children came up with amazing ideas—everything from choosing their own pets (unicorns and dragons were very popular!) to deciding what meals we’d have every day. We loved imagining a world where homework might disappear and ice cream could be a main course! Everyone worked hard to write their own poems, and we shared them with the class. The creativity was incredible! 
Maths Magic 
In maths, we’ve been learning about pictograms. We collected data about our birthdays and different characteristics in the class, then turned that information into colourful pictograms. It was a great way to see patterns and learn how to present data clearly. The children enjoyed comparing who had birthdays in the same month and spotting interesting facts about our class.
